This is Tonka. At least that's his given name. He's often called by other names as well. He was the smallest of the males in his litter, but he more than made up for his lack of size with an abundance of ... enthusiasm. By the time these photos were taken (at about 6 months of age) he had already decided he would not let anyone else adopt him. Now, at almost 2 years he's a Velcro dog. Meaning whenever I'm around, he's stuck to me like a shadow. Even though he was the rowdy one, I couldn't help but love a dog that was so devoted. So despite my promise to myself not to keep any of the puppies ... well, you know how it goes.
